I agree. Radar will only tell you what an individual person can hit not what the bats overall performance is

Not looking for the numbers donkey.. More the comparison of exit speeds.

It hangs with the Miken/Worth stuff. Which more or less was the undeniable #1.

Anything 2018 with its work into it will hang... Some I like and some I dislike, mostly for feel or weight related reasons. The barrels all seem to be on par and matching up for exit speeds. Heck even LS felt like joining that party this year too when it was clear last year they had been left in the dust of the others.

I watched certain guys put up comparable numbers with diff brands at softball gym. A lot of loyal Miken guys now taking Easton FireFlex and Ressy seriously.

The Eastons turned heads because of their ability to do so now having only come out of wrapper weeks before. Not doing so after a full season of beatings into them or etc. The Green Flex was good but still seemed to take a long while to shift gears vs the Worth bats I was partial to.

Used to be it would take about a full season until an Easton was really even close to sniffing a Miken/Worth bat that just came out of wrapper.

Now they both start out of the gate about the same and work in the same, but with their respective differences in feel/weights.

Trust me when I say, it's all about feel and what you personally launch a ball best with now. There really isn't so much of a big gap in the brands' technology.

Each brand with its due work as we saw with demos will put up excellent comparable numbers and performance. That being said, there was still a few brands who I just don't like the handle feel or impact feel, and thus hit poorly with cause of lack of comfort. Put them in a tester, they are all at pass/fail and pushing top notch exit speeds.

This is very true.

A great example is the Twisted Mistress. Tester and radar results seemed to wow everyone. The hype is out.

Give me that bat with it's handle the way it is and I just hit like pooh. It's really the guy swinging it and the fact it doesn't suit him.

For the same reason I hit a Balanced Worth or FireFlex really well and the next guy may not.

Not really knowing what to expect, took mine fresh to the cages last night.

By far insane improvement in out of wrapper performance.

Bat was just gross feeling already. Exit speeds were noticeable and def in line with the Worth bats that have quite a bit of work in them already.

Will be VERY interesting to see the first nice day outside the comparison of this Bal F-Flex, 17 Bal EST and Dedonatis Legit.
