NGTG - Angels14

This is waaaay overdue but Angels14 is NGTG. I won his bat raffle (A 2012 Helmer) in March and he still hasnít gotten me the bat.

After the raffle, he said he shipped it but could not provide a tracking number. I pushed a few times and he said he went to the post office to check and it was stuck in the system. I asked him to keep pursuing and he told me that CP had now lost the bat and he was just waiting on CP insurance to get me a replacement. Technically not per board rules since I shouldnít have to wait but itís only a raffle so I agree to help him out and wait. At this point heís no longer logging into SFO so I ask a board bro for some contact info and start texting with him. He tells me he canít find a replacement Helmer so I tell him I will accept a Z2K or Avarice as replacement. He says he can get an Avarice and he will let me know when itís on the way. A few weeks later I try to contact him and he says, sorry I forgot to tell you, I got an Avarice and itís on the way to me, then I will send to you. I say cool, send me a tracking number when you do. Again a few weeks go by and I ask if he sent it, he says yes, itís on the way. I ask for tracking, he says he canít find it. A few more weeks go by and no bat. I try texting him again and no response. That was in September, I havenít heard from him or recieved a bat since. He still isn't logging into SFO either.

I realize I should have posted about this earlier but Iíve been working out of the country and havenít had much time/opportunity to deal with this over the last few months. Additionally, in the beginning of all this around the April/May timeframe when the bat was deemed lost, he told me that his brother was in hospital and I told him to take his time working this as family comes first. I have been as patient as possible with this overall, but 8 months is ridiculous.

Can anyone help me in tracking him down to get the bat Iíve been owed since March?

Sorry to see this, but it also took about 4 months to get cash owed to Cards7 that he apparently had for weeks...

Bump to get this resolved quickly...

Damn man, this guy is a tool...got board members to donate money for a raffle, and never came thru with a prize.

I would bet that this scumbag probably never even sent the original Helmer.

Can anyone find the original post for this raffle and what team it was for? I can probably get the team contact info and find out if he is the actual team contact and if any monies were given to the team. If a prize was not given then the whole raffle is a fraud and he owes quite a few people some money.

When i first started participating in raffles I was curious how we actually know that these are legit and not just someone looking to pocket a couple bills for themselves. I wondered if there was a better way like having an appointed person who does all of the money collecting for each raffle for a small fee maybe something like $20 per raffle and once confirmation from the winner that the prize has been delivered then a cheque is sent to the team. I know that a lot of teams now have a bank account set up in their team name. At least that way we know the money is being received by the team. What happens with it after that well not much else we can do.
