My 2015 Mako Torq review.

Everyone knows I love this bat but here it is anyways.

This is seriously the best bat I have hit in a very, very long time. I have 2 of them one has about 1,200 to 1,500 hits with hard balls and the other has maybe 200 hits on it. There is quite a difference between the two to be honest. This bat is fairly good out of wrapper it has a snap to it when you make contact. After about 400-500 hits it started to change sound and it was instantly a gamer. It has gotten better and better ever since. After about 1,000 swings I got it tested and it tested at 245 on 2 sides and 240 on the third.

After today's BP I'm putting it away till the season and I'm going to start putting more time in to my backup. I'm actually afraid it may or may not pass testing at this point. Last season I tested 8 to 10 bats minimum and i never had one under 270 so this is night and day vs 2014.

The Torq is showing no signs of webbing at all here is a picture of the two I have the one has a considerable amount of paint chipping but no webbing.

The Torq an awesome feature but for me mentally it was something I needed to not have on the bat, I simply taped over it.

Bat swings unreal and everyone that touches it falls in love. IMO worth every penny for the 1st time in years I don't want to swing anything else at all.

Here is a video of me hitting it today, I have zero I.T. ability my buddy Lexx does it all for me and he chose to chop up the BP to make it more interesting and add sound. Sorry if you don't like it...

You'll be able to tell the sound difference between the 200 hit one and other one.. Hits up the middle and just in to RCF were with the newer one.

Lmk if you have any questions.

I will second Rob on this one.

I have used Ronny's in BP quite a few times and the bat is very very good. The new Technology in the Torq and the Realtree make a big difference. They are both hotter and more forgiving then any Easton bat i have used.

Keep hitting it little buddy hahaha

Bat is silly by Easton standards! I have to agree tho, using it taped shut is the way to fly!

I'm swinging a 26 oz this year. The EL in the Torq isn't as noticeable as last year's L1 or this year's Kirby. I just find I have a little more bat control with a 26 oz with the 1oz EL.

Took my new torq mako balanced out yesterday. Can tell it's already going to be better than the L1.

Feel is awesome, but you just can tell she needs 400 or so to shift gears.

Still it shot it out there pretty good, but a bit behind my others right now.

Will be a very good team bat to have and may become a gamer for me later. That's still tbd as I have 3 very good options.

Eastons are up to something good this year for sure. Had some Easton haters who loved the Torq yesterday.

Very tempting after hearing all the hype. I've swung 3 Easton stealths with the CXN and was not a fan of the whip feel. Maybe now with the balance and end load options and going with endload would correct that feel? How do these compare?

Would you say the Torq is similar in feel to the sp13L1? Also, anyone swung the balanced USSSA version of the Torq? How close to an st100 does it swing?

I know ASA to Utrip. But if you were a fan of the SCN5 and you know how good that bat was. the Balanced version of the Torq is that same swung feel.
