What's the call #2

Here are a few more that I'm curious as to what others think the right call is.

Senario #1

Down by 1 bottom of 7 with 2 out and 2 strikes on the batter. Batter pops the ball up on the infield not very high and it lands foul halfway to 3rdbase. Umpires yells foul ball batters out as soon as it hits the ground and the batter stops and turns toward the bench. However as the ball hits the ground it spins back towards fair and everyone on the bench tells the batter who was almost back to the dugout to run. The 3rd baseman grabs the ball and throws it to 1st just beating the runner. The umpire stands there and doesn't know what to call. He ponders for a moment and makes the correct call. He says.........

A) batter is out because the ball beat them to 1st.
B) batter is out because he called batter out when the ball hit the ground
C) batter is safe because as per his error had the batter started running they would have beat the throw.
D) dead ball on the pitch and they will replay from the count prior to last pitch
E) none of the above

Senario #2

A rather large gentleman who doesn't run very well gets a base hit to LF. He stumbles onto first and on his way yells to umpie for a courtesy runner which he hears. Being slow the LF grabs the ball and is about to fire it all the way to first to try to get him. Though he was late in trying as the batter gets to first and the guy coaching steps onto the bag to take his place. As he gets on the base the throw was already sailing in from LF and because their dugout was on the 1B side the ball coming in almost hits the batter as he was entering his dugout. Ball goes into the dugout with the batter. Coach tells the umpire that the runner should get 2nd on the overthrow because time hadn't been called. The umpire ponders then makes the correct call which is......

A) runner goes to 2nd due to the overthrow
B) runner stays on first because there was no attemp to advance
C) runner stays on first because a courtesy can't advance until the next pitch
D) calls batter out for leaving the field of play before time is called
E) none of the above

Well I've seen both senarios happen in the last month so was curious if others knew the proper calls. You wanna say my post is stupid? Your opinion which you are welcome to. Have a nice evening.
