I have gotten some of those exact S905 Trongle boxes... they are the same as the MXQ (Pro or Plus) that I also buy thru Amazon. Pretty sure I ordered MXQ and got the Trongle ones instead IIRC lol
Generally I pay about $45 for a box ($60 or so when packaged with a keyboard remote).... but they are only 1gb/8gb.

What to use for movies and tv shows? I only recommend exodus and istream. Best in my opinion, well maintained, and constantly maintained. Most of the other movie/tv addons are based off of the creator of exodus´ code. There are other addons who also have reliable links but if you know what you want to watch exodus and istream are the best. The other lists are just handy sometimes when theyve been organized or categorized. List in pheonix, under one242415 has some serious lists. For example, scariest movies of all time, quentin tarantino, drive in specials, most violent movies of all time, nhl on demand etc. Sometimes its nice when a list like that can suggest a movie or show.

I agree... all I ever really use or need is Exodus (Movies/TV), Phoenix (some live tv/NHL etc) and Sportsdevil (all sports and games I cant watch with MLBtv or gamecenter).
I also have SALTS and specto Genesis but never really use them.
No need to put a lot of stuff on the boxes that will do nothing but bog it down.

That's actually the one problem that I have with this box I bought...about 99% of the stuff that the guy preloads on them, i'll never use.

I find that's the biggest problem with the pre-loaded boxes. There is so much stuff that they add on when in reality u only need a handful of add ons.

Once you land yourself a box, whatever it is, im sure the community here can guide you through what to use based on actual experience.
There is a lot of content out there and all accessible.

I'm looking to set myself up with Retropie on my newly acquired Raspberry pi. Anybody have any experience with setting it up? Any advice?

I am thinking about getting an amazon fire tv to try. I like the idea of Alexa and telling her what to do.

Highly recommend the raspberry pi. Can do anything you want it to do, pretty much as easy as searching google or youtube.

Retro gaming works great on the pi. There are addons now that you can run through kodi so watch tv and play games if you like.
But if you search kijiji for retro gaming consoles most of those people are running retropie on a raspberry pi.
But yes Google is your friend a lot of projects and simple to do. Just make sure you start collecting your roms.
