It was paypal. My account got cracked, it was before I ever bought anything. Long story short my credit card doesn't have rewards, a portion of my pay gets loaded on it directly from Whirlpool so I cut up my other cards. No fees, no interest and no issues. I will use it for event registration but for this we had lots of time so I just didn't bother.

You don't technically need to use your Paypal account. You use the credit card option opposed to logging in, and you send payment. By doing this, you have a copy of the payment via email receipt.

Any rough idea as to the number of teams in each division, and I know it's pretty impossible to tell till you get there first weekend and see the schedule, but just wondering.

And, any idea where the events will be held this year? Are they back at SPC mostly again this year or are we spreading them out?

looks like 400 in C for event 1, 12 for event 2 then anywhere from 8-30 from events 3-6...;)

I would say

10 in A
24 in B
6 in A Ladies

As for C, lots to start and F all at the end

The london Ramada or the St. Thomas Ramada? London will be about 18min from the hotel to the park. St. Thomas your looking at a 4 min drive.

Have you played in Cambridge? Other than the crappy weather I thought it was a pretty good event......the atmosphere was one of the best last year. Sure the parks need work but diamond 1 and 2 were in pretty decent shape before the rain.

I know I've got 2 conflicts with SS ad Master's Circuit. I know there are only so many weekends available but sheesh it would be nice if they didn't conflict. As far as cutting back the one August tourney it has more to do with the poor turnout than anything else I think. I'm sure that was also a reason there is one less C SS this year too...

I need will preface my comment with I am a huge SPO backer. I run 2 SPO tournaments (one of which I am sure is one of the biggest SPO has) and a SPO league.

SPO did this to themselves (I wish they hadnt) they didnt give C the opportunity to be successful last year. Running C on seperate weekends than A and B absolutely killed it for most teams. They also allowed too many teams to skirt the rules when it came to ranked players (and yes I did play for the Mudcats before anyone chimes in) which caused an obvious 2 tier system in the division.

I believe they will have more C attendance issues hosting an event on Nats weekend, ofcourse this is only my opinion.

i think you're mistaken...IMO, C was moved so they didn't have to cap teams as in previous year. With C as the prime draw every other weekend, i'm guessing SPO thought they would get 30+ teams.

Also, in A/B and probably womens, there is a 2 tier system. there is every year. just the way it's been and will continue until spo decides to put zones back into play

The 8 teams was only one tournament...and I think that was more a product of the location than anything else (mind you, some teams had basically packed it in by that point...or wanted a weekend off before provs). It was probably the smallest B weekend as well.
