atleast 500 to get it not to feel like a log... 1000+ to loosen it up... 1500 to hit start hitting bombs. :D

If you want it ready for the falls then you better break out the mallet.

getting it rolled doesn't kill the durability does it?

Just do BP with it for the next 6 months and it will be ready for next year... I'll help you out with cuts on it :D

Roll it - better than malletting it, IMHO.

more BP... if you want to actually improve yourself and the bat.... :D

I just can't afford to get a bat rolled....

Rolling will break the barell in evenly all the way around and open the sweet spot also will wake that catty up...I had one before rolling and it was a log...I sold it...and shouldn't have...just take too long to break in...I malleted it, BP etc and still a log...but after getting a roller...catties are GTG and very durable bats!!!

But that still does not answer his wuestion about how long it takes... I'm gonna say at least 1000 but the way you swing 1500!!! lol

09-14-2007, 10:43 PM
The way I swing min still looked

Really thou just straight up BP...I would say 1000 hits would be a good start!!! Likely comparable to a freak98 for breakin time

Thuderfeet look at it this way. You will have a bat that will last you until next season, it will heat up but with the amount of BP you are starting to take it will happen sooner than later!
