With all the hype on the Jakd and the talk about how good the ultra 2 was lets find out what was the better bat

i would say the jak'd.... i like the feel of it over the u2

I have both a 28oz Jak'd and a 27oz U2, both need work so i will update this later. The Jak'd hits a lot smoother than the U2, and once it is worked in its just insane.

My vote goes the Jak'd simply because you are able to use it legally in NSA

Someone should go out and compare the side by side and report the results...I think that its too close to say who would win in the distance dept. but from what I remember...the U1 and U2 have a bigger sweet spot than the Jak'd !!!

there is no issue with sweetspot where the jak'd is concerned. and it is simply retarded right out of the wrapper. i seem to remember the u2 needing some break in time

SHAAVED

I think that the Jak'd is more durable tho...only2 have broke in all of Canada so far...I think. And they were done by some local boys woohoo damn monsters

I agree with Kenny because the U2 isn't legal anywhere, and the Jak'd is approved for NSA.
Jak'd is my vote.

The ultra's are tanks...The jak'd seems to be stupid and is legal in NSA CANADA so why won't NSA CANADA allow the Ultra's and original synergy?

The Ultras are tanks? Did you say that? They had durability issues from the get go. Maxloads were breaking after 10 swings, and If you had a U2 that lasted, you were one of the lucky ones.

I've owned all three and the Ultra 2 for me was the best performer. The U1 was pretty gross too, but i never was able to keep one together for more than 100 swings. The Jak'd is an unbelievable bat, but comparisons to the U1 and U2 are silly, considering that they are not legal anywhere.

A guy on a team i used to play on had a 26oz U2 that lasted from the very first day it was available in the store until the day Miken offered to trade them all in for an approved bat. He was able to get a receipt that was dated with in the year to trade it in. so i think it was almost 3 years he had it total i was just going off that as i never owned one myself

I have to go with the JAK'D, great bat.
But, since there seems to be debate, (well, little debate) Who has a NIW U2???
(27oz) that isn't too expensive?? LMK, I'll buy a few dozen new balls and get at it. Never hit a U2, but I'll still take the JAK'D.......

I had about 10ab's with the jak'd over the weekend and had a couple decent shots with it but I would have to say the U2 is a better performer. The stuff that comes off of a U2 is just absolutely ridiculous.

However, the jak'd is very close though and since it's approved by at least one association I'll take the jak'd. But if I had a choice, U2 hands down.

Ev is right a comparison is silly not just cause one of the bats are illegal but because the ultra2 is 10 times the bat the jak"ed is hands down. i"ve hit both and therers no ?? thats the jak"ed is a great stick no debate about that. but the u2 is just plain out retarded and is to dangerous to use in any association. just my two cents.

Orignal hasnt really worked well for me, I get better results from my AV. JAK'D is hot but I doubt its better than a U2, What did you think today Bubz? Will it keep up? LOL, Bubz was a machine with it today 330' consistantly with his JAK'D

Jak'd is definitely a bit behind in the pop area. Balls just scream off the U2. Those balls I hit today get there a couple seconds earlier with the U2 for sure.

I already posted near the beginning of this thread though so you better start reading Kurly. LOL Just kidding bud. :)

Never swund a Jak'd and probably never will because we only play ASA
but if its being considered in the same line as U2 it must be one hell of sweet bat. However nothing will probably come close to an OG Ultra, the sickest bat I ever got to see perform

I am gonna say the jakd due to being legal...its no Ultra and the Ultra is better for distance etc, but you cant swing an Ultra anywhere.

Team that came to Belleville this past weekend had 4 bats on fence. 1 freak 100 and 3 Jakds.

Jakd the offical bat of Team Fusion haha

very tough call....seen some bombs with the jak'd this past weekend....bombs like i have never seen in Belleville before the arrival of the Jak'd! must have been 4 or 5 people hit over 400' all using the Jak'd. Seems to be a bat anyone can swing!

Wow... You told some guys on your team and they did not seem to care. So why are you so concerned about it. Yes, some of the guys on the RedCaps where swinging the Jak'd Nemesys, I believe a total of 4 guys out of the 11 that were batting (and they were the weaker batters). I'm pretty sure that the ump asked both teams at the beginning of each game we played, "If anyone has any concerns regarding bats being used please address it now before the game starts other wise I don't want to hear about!"
We followed the bat list that was provided, we didn't swing our M7 120, JH120, Mutant 120 or NRG600. Not our fault the organizers failed to have the Jak'd Nemesys on the Banned Bat list.
I'm sure if it was a local team that was swing the bat, and had ended up winning the tournament you would not be complaining.

The major of our guys were swing a Mayhem M7 98, NRG500, Syn2 or Mutant98. Just the set the facts straight on the weekend.

This bat was discussed at the Pif Coach's meeting as it was NOT on the banned bat list. As explained there, it was still not allowed as it is NOT on the APPROVED bat list. It was explained that any bat not on either list is NOT ALLOWED.
Not enough to simply be on the non-approved list. There is an allowed list as well. If it's not on it; too bad, still can't be used.

No offence was intended from our team. This was mentioned to us that it was an "Outlaw" sanctioned tourney, so we thought nothing of it! We do know better, but not once was there a item or concern brought up.

Take it as you will!
