we used to bat everybuddy until one of our players(flamer77) got booted for wearing a toe guard no subs we lose
last year we subbed which would have sucked but we ended up playing a lot more games

during regular season i like to let everyone bat. But come Provincials, depending on the batters/team i would like to bat 10 with 2 subs....not everyone will go for that though so we usually end up batting 12 for the first game and make adjustments after that.

Every team always has a couple of players they want to see get more at bats, the more people you bat, the less chances they get to the plate.

Bat 11 in round robin play so some players get swings, then if everyone hasn't hit well and the 11th batter would weaken the line up, stick to 10 get your best hitters up more often, you need to score to win!!

Take Care

League ball we tend to bat'em all ...

Tournament play everyone knows why we are there and what their individual role is so we bat 10 with subs. It also does 2 other things: a) it makes everyone work to keep their spot in the line up or flipside the guys that are subs are working hard chomping at the bit to get a starting spot and b) guys seem to get more comfortable in the line up knowing who the starters are both offensively and defensively ...

Note: It takes a really committed group of guys to pull this off ...

Usually 11.

We played Nationals one year and batted 14, and still won!

All depends on players and what you are playing for. To win, no more than 12, preferably 10+ subs and if for fun, play them all!!

bat 11 and keep at least one sub...seen many teams DQ'd for not able to finish with what they started
